Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ histories regarding substance abuse and mental health. \n
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, addressing not only the addiction but also underlying mental health disorders. \n
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to engage clients effectively. \n
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate integrated care, sharing insights and strategies to optimize client outcomes. \n
- Provide education and resources to clients’ families, fostering their involvement in the recovery process and enhancing support systems. \n
- Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress and treatment adherence, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. \n
In this role, you will primarily work with individuals struggling with substance abuse issues, who may also present with co-occurring mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, or trauma-related conditions. Your compassionate approach and understanding of the complexities of addiction will be vital in helping clients develop coping strategies and life skills necessary for lasting recovery.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A valid and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field. \n
- Specialized training or demonstrated experience in addiction counseling, with a solid understanding of substance abuse treatment modalities. \n
- Proficiency in evidence-based practices for treating substance use and co-occurring disorders. \n
- Demonstrated therapeutic and counseling skills, coupled with an ability to motivate and inspire clients towards recovery. \n
- Exceptional communication skills, fostering collaboration and teamwork across diverse professional backgrounds. \n
While we welcome all qualified candidates, preference will be given to those who have prior experience working in outpatient substance abuse treatment settings, possess knowledge of local and state resources, and have engaged in continuous professional development in the field of addiction counseling.
Compensation and Benefits\nWe offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials.
