Math Instructor, Part-time Adjunct Pool - East Kern Center,Rising Scholars Program Opportunity Kern Community College District Salary: $67.00 Hourly Job Type: Temporary – Adjuncts Job Number: FY21-22-00662 Location: CC - East Kern, Edwards/California City/Tehachapi(Rising Scholars), CA Representative Duties The successful applicant will be expected to provide instruction in a full range of Mathematics courses, including Arithmetic,PreAlgebra, Elementary Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, TradesMathematics, Survey of Mathematics, Elementary Statistics, CollegeAlgebra, Trigonometry, Finite Mathematics, Business Calculus,Analytic Geometry and Calculus I, II, and III, DifferentialEquations, and Linear Algebra. Other Duties Participation in student recruitment and articulation of transfer programs for the Mathematics department; maintaining subject matter currency; developing and revising curriculum; using computer and multimedia technology; collegial participation in departmental, college and discipline-specific professional activities. This assignment may include using multiple teaching methodologies and teaching at other campus sites, day or evening classes, weekend classes, large classes, distance learning, classes for incarcerated students and working as a tutor in the math lab.
