This position supports the HR department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The human resources generalist will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, and will help with daily HR functions such as staffing, training and development, and compensation and benefits.ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIESPerforms routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.Creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulationsMaintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance recordsMaintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.Provide a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees that covers absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievances, organizational change, and all other employee-relations mattersBe the primary backup for payroll processing, including biweekly and semimonthly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, vacation/sick pay, expense reimbursements, hourly-employee validations, and benefits changesPreserves and assures confidentiality of data and employee concerns.Responsible for other duties as needed or assignedESSENTIAL SKILLSExceptional Organization SkillsExcellent Verbal and Written Communication SkillsAbility to communicate with stakeholders across the organization utilizing interpersonal communicationThe ability to maintain confidentialityCapability to display compassion and empathyDemonstration of high level decision making and critical thinkingProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, established computer literacy skillsJOB QUALIFICATIONSRequired :Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related fieldPreferred :At least one year of human resource experienceSHRM-CPOur Cultural BeliefsPeople FirstIntegrity MattersBetter TogetherAt LMH Health, we value inclusion and diversity.
