Job Title: RN - Emergency Department Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Texas or Compact RN Certifications: Must-Have: - BLS - ACLS - PALS - ENPC - TNCC Description: This position is for a contract Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. The role entails working mid-shift from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the emergency setting. The unit features a total of 41 beds with a staffing ratio of 1:4 for core patients and 1:6 for fast-track patients. The team consists of a charge nurse, trauma nurse, unit clerk, and several Registered Nurses, as well as mixed paramedic and tech support during mid and night shifts. Special equipment and electronic medical records (EMR) training will be provided during orientation. Candidates must possess essential certifications such as ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, and TNCC. CPI certification is required within six weeks of onboarding. Candidates without these certifications will not be considered. This unit is seeking individuals who possess the required skills and a collaborative mindset.
