Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Registered Nurse Medical/Surgical

Schedule: Nights - 12hr: 7p-7a. 36 hours per week. 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Assignment Details: Contract Duration: 16 weeks. Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week.

Requirements: Active NY RN License. AHA BLS Certification. 1 year recent experience in acute med/surg/tele. 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates. Preferred: 2 years recent experience in acute med/surg/tele. Experience with EPIC charting.

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care to individuals in a medical/surgical setting. Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical histories. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and families about care plans and health management. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with facility policies.

Compliance / Notes: Must be flexible according to the needs of the facility's schedule. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. No block scheduling.
