Principal Clinical Specialist - Salt Lake City, UT

Abbott seeks a Principal Clinical Specialist for its Cardiac Rhythm Management division in Salt Lake City. The role provides comprehensive technical, clinical, and sales support for CRM products to physicians and healthcare professionals, with field-based responsibilities and 50% travel.
Responsibilities
- Serve as senior clinical interface between medical community and business stakeholders
- Respond to field inquiries from physicians and healthcare professionals regarding CRM products and troubleshooting
- Develop and facilitate training programs on CRM products for healthcare professionals
- Provide backup sales support including regional training seminars and clinical studies
- Mentor less experienced clinical specialists and continuously develop engineering and technical skills
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or related field, or equivalent healthcare experience
- Six or more years of related cardiac experience or accredited cardiac training program certification
- Current IBHRE certification in CRM products
- Advanced knowledge of cardiac pacing systems and electrophysiology procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication with excellent presentation and analytical abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PC-based applications for presentations and databases
- Ability to manage multiple assignments independently and collaborate across teams
Compensation: $86,700–$173,300 base
