Pediatrician

Presbyterian Healthcare Services, a locally owned, not-for-profit healthcare system in New Mexico, is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Pediatrician to join our growing team in Clovis, NM. In this role, you will make all professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen while working within a supportive regional delivery system. Practice Info 8-12 bed Pediatric unit Pediatric Hospitalist on site during weekends Patient Volume is average 15 to 25 patients per day Deliveries 70-90/month Responsibilities Make all professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen Manage the physician/patient relationship Participate in system wide health management initiatives Provide input into the practice site s financial, clinical, and service quality performance; budget; capital plan; and personnel issues Assist in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards Receive and resolve patient complaints Participate in the recruitment and replacement of other providers Consults with and advises other providers regarding optimal and cost-effective treatment of pediatric patients Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, in-services, and workshops Compensation Nationally competitive salary Benefits Relocation allowance available CME allowance Fully paid malpractice insurance Student Loan Forgiveness Eligible (NHSC, PSLF, NM Health Professional Loan Repayment Program) Robust, day one effective benefits plan consisting of medical, dental, and vision and more 403b retirement savings program with both matching programs and employer contributions Robust wellness program, including free access to our on-site and community-based gyms, nutrition coaching and classes, wellness challenges and more Shift & Schedule Full time Monday - Friday Schedule: Provider will have 36 hours of scheduled patient care and 4 hours of administrative time per week 4-day work week option Call required per month includes inpatient rounding & attending newborn deliveries Qualifications Must be BC/BE in Pediatrics Outstanding patient care qualities, highly motivated with an interest to grow their practice Patient-focused and willing to collaborate and work in a team environment Ability to obtain a medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico M.D. /D.O. Board-eligible or certified with State of New Mexico Medical License
