Field Technician

Description The Taney County Regional Sewer District (TCRSD) is seeking to fill two Field Technician positions to join our operations team. TCRSD protects and improves the drinking water, lakes, and streams of Taney County by providing regional wastewater collection and treatment services. In this position, you will operate and maintain the District's lift stations and collection and treatment systems — the infrastructure that keeps our communities and waterways clean. TCRSD protects and improves the drinking water, lakes, and streams of Taney County by providing regional wastewater collection and treatment services. In this position, you will operate and maintain the District's lift stations and collection and treatment systems — the infrastructure that keeps our communities and waterways clean. What You'll Do Operate, monitor, and maintain the District's lift station network Perform scheduled maintenance on pumps, valves, controls, generators, and collection lines, station and treatment equipment Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain grinder pumps Conduct testing to keep wastewater treatment facilities in compliance with Missouri Department of Natural Resources operating permits Operate trucks, heavy equipment, and maintain station grounds and easements Repair line breaks and perform system improvements Respond to emergency and on-call situations as part of a rotation What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED, plus experience in construction, equipment operation and maintenance, plumbing, or electrical work (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) Valid Missouri driver's license Ability to obtain a Missouri Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tanker and air brake ratings Ability to obtain Missouri DNR Wastewater Operator licensing (minimum Level D) Ability to perform the physical demands of the position, including lifting up to 60 pounds, working in confined spaces, and working outdoors in all weather What We Offer Competitive pay, depending on qualifications Employer Pays 100% Employee & 50% Dependent Health, Vision, and Dental 100% Employer paid Life and AD&D benefit, Short- and Long-Term Disability Insurance 100% Employer Paid Missouri LAGERS Retirement Plan (L-6) Holiday Pay and Paid Time Off (PTO) A District-provided work truck Paid training and support in obtaining your CDL and DNR operator licensing Stable, mission-driven work protecting Taney County's lakes, streams, and drinking water Employment is contingent upon a pre-employment physical, substance screening, and background check.
