Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Critical Care Float RN for a Magnet, Level I Trauma teaching hospital, requiring 3 years of ICU experience and prior travel experience. Requirements Active WA or compact RN license required BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC preferred Minimum 3 years of critical care experience in a Level I Trauma Center required Recent ICU experience within the last year required Neuro ICU experience plus an additional ICU specialty required (MICU, Trauma ICU, Burn ICU, or CVICU) Academic/teaching facility experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required, verified by testing Required skills include ventilator management, IV starts, telemetry, and conscious sedation Preferred skills include ICP monitoring and PA line management References must be from a direct supervisor, not a charge RN Responsibilities Critical Care Float Pool position floating across all critical care units within scope Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM-7:30 PM) Every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities No block scheduling accommodations Uses Epic charting system Float within scope to meet facility needs across all critical care units Must submit RTO prior to facility submission; no additional RTO granted after offer Holiday coverage required for 2 of 3 major holidays (eve/day counted as one holiday set); Christmas RTO not available Any solid color scrubs accepted; unit also provides light blue scrubs Prior UW/Harborview staff must have 18 months separation before returning as a traveler Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction First-time travelers not accepted for this position due to experience requirements COVID vaccination and booster required with no exceptions Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
