Overview As a financial advisor with Edward Jones, you will develop and grow your own practice, supported by branch, home‑office, and regional teams. You will help clients achieve long‑term financial goals including retirement, wealth building, estate strategies, and education funding. Key Responsibilities Build relationships to create new clients through face‑to‑face and virtual sourcing strategies such as residential, business, networking, introductions, referrals, social media, and speaking engagements. Deeply understand clients’ and prospective clients’ needs, priorities, and concerns to accelerate trust and create personalized, comprehensive strategies that help them achieve their goals. Oversee branch processes, roles, and responsibilities to ensure a high‑quality, streamlined client experience consistent with firm policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines. Engage the branch team to create, monitor, and adjust the branch business plan to increase effectiveness and achieve desired business results. Create a highly engaging environment in the branch that fosters mutual trust, respect, feedback, and accountability. Skills & Qualifications Candidates should have at least one of the following: A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred or equivalent work‑related experience within the securities or financial services industry. Financial services or sales experience. Financial services registration, licensing, or certification. Professional or military career progression. Licensing SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 are required; if not currently registered, registrations may be obtained during the paid study period. FINRA registrations required within three months; state insurance licenses are also required. Ongoing training and regulatory continuing education are required to maintain licenses.
