Pediatric School Speech Therapist | East Aurora, New York

You'll work with a diverse caseload-including students with varied speech, language, and social-communication needs-during an Extended School Year (ESY) program. The assignment runs from July 6 through August 14, with weekday hours from 8:15 am to 2:15 pm, providing an excellent work-life balance.


Qualifications and Desired Skills:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP licensure relevant to New York
• CCC-SLP credential or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
• Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Skilled in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for empowering students with diverse backgrounds and abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students' speech and language needs
• Develop and deliver individualized therapy sessions
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and other specialists to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
