Human Resources Assistant

The Town of Barnstable is hiring a Human Resources Assistant to support HR operations through administrative, recordkeeping, auditing, and research tasks. Responsibilities Carry out recordkeeping, auditing, research, and administrative work in support of the Human Resources Department . Requirements Working knowledge of human resources administration . Ability to prepare and maintain detailed and confidential records and reports . Proficiency with computers and applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases . Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing . High school diploma with supplemental courses in business or a related field . Consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience that supports successful performance of essential duties. Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment with quick thinking, problem solving, strong communication, and a passion for public service . Technologies
