Overview Visitor Control Specialist — Marine Corps University (MCU) / College of Distance Education and Training (CDET). Location: Quantico, VA. Employment Type: Full-Time. Security Clearance: Active Secret (Tier 3) Clearance Required. This position is contingent upon contract award. Hatalom Corporation is seeking a Visitor Control Specialist to support Marine Corps University (MCU) and Education Command (EDCOM). This position is responsible for managing visitor access to a SECRET-accredited facility while ensuring compliance with Department of Defense, Department of the Navy, and U.S. Marine Corps security regulations. Responsibilities Control visitor access by verifying security clearances, visit authorizations, and need-to-know. Process and validate visit requests using DISS and other approved security systems. Issue, collect, and maintain accountability of visitor badges and access records. Maintain daily visitor logs and prepare required security reports. Enforce facility access control procedures and report security incidents or suspicious activity. Coordinate with the Security Manager and Special Security Representative (SSR) on visitor control procedures. Escort uncleared visitors within restricted areas as required. Review visitor control procedures and recommend process improvements to enhance security and efficiency. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in visitor control, physical security, access control, or security administration. Familiarity with DoD security procedures and visitor processing systems, including DISS. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Active Secret (Tier 3) Security Clearance. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting a DoD or Marine Corps secure facility. Knowledge of DoD, DON, and USMC security regulations. Experience working in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) or SECRET-accredited environment.
