Located in a state-of-the-art 5000 square foot facility, our practice specializes in sports medicine and thrives in a collaborative environment with a close-knit team. Comprising two seasoned physical therapists and a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), our organization prioritizes delivering exceptional patient care while fostering an engaging and supportive work culture.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility in Los Angeles, featuring advanced equipment and resources that support an effective treatment process. Our working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured schedule that promotes a healthy work-life balance. In addition, we cater primarily to patients with private medical insurance, ensuring that our services are accessible to a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and recognize the unique objectives and requirements of each patient, tailoring individualized treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a patient load of one-on-one therapy sessions per hour, enabling focused and high-quality care.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions characterized by innovative approaches to enhance clients' range of motion and mobility.
• Implement cost-effective and non-invasive therapies, reducing reliance on medications and surgical interventions.
• Create comprehensive treatment plans utilizing diverse therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
• Design and customize fitness and wellness programs that fit each patient's specific needs and recovery goals.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation process, optimizing their overall functionality and adherence to treatment.
• Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes regularly, providing ongoing progress reports and adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all services rendered to maintain compliance and ensure quality of care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop holistic and integrated patient care approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily focuses on individuals engaged in active lifestyles, including amateur and professional athletes, as well as patients with orthopedic injuries. Many of our clients hold private insurance plans, reflecting a commitment to quality care and outcomes. You will encounter a range of cases requiring your expert assessment and intervention, from post-operative rehabilitation to preventative care.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of California, with a clean record free of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong foundation in exercise program design and implementation.
• Competence in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings highly preferred, enabling you to adapt seamlessly to our patient population.
• Familiarity with sports medicine practices or rehabilitation techniques related to high-performance athletes is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive salary, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
