Collections Manager

Position Overview An organization is seeking aCollections & Treasury Managerto lead both commercial collections and treasury operations. This roleis responsible forimproving cash flow,optimizingworking capital, overseeingaccountsreceivable performance, and managing daily treasury activities. The position will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Commercial teams to support liquidity, reduce risk, and drive process improvements across the organization. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong experience incommercial collections, cash management, forecasting, and team leadership. This individual will bring a continuous improvement mindset and a proven ability to drive operational efficiencies while supporting strategic financialobjectives. Key Responsibilities Collections & Accounts Receivable Leadership Lead and develop thecollections and accounts receivable team Implement strategies to improvecash collections, cash conversion, and DSO performance Oversee commercial customer accounts and manage collection activities Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve billing disputes and payment issues Monitor customer credit exposure and support credit risk management initiatives Develop and track key performance metrics to improve collection effectiveness Treasury & Cash Management Managedaily cash positioning and liquidity activities Prepare andmaintainshort- and long-term cash flow forecasts Maintain banking relationships and support financing activities Monitor working capital performance andidentifyoptimization opportunities Manage treasury systems, banking platforms, and electronic payment processes Provide leadership with cash flow reporting and liquidity insights Leadership & Business Partnership Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Operations, and Commercial teams Support strategic initiatives related to cash flow, working capital, and financial performance Communicate financial insights and recommendations to management Process Improvement & Controls Driveautomation and continuous improvement initiativesacross collections and treasury functions Enhance internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies Identifyopportunities to improve reporting, workflows, and financial processes Support ERP and treasury system enhancements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree inFinance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field 5–8+ years of experiencein treasury, collections, accounts receivable, or finance leadership roles Strong experience withcommercial collections and cash flow management Experience withcash forecasting, liquidity management, and working capital optimization AdvancedproficiencyinMicrosoft Excel Experience withERP systems, treasury platforms, and financial reporting tools Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in alarge corporate, manufacturing, industrial, transportation, orlogisticsenvironment Experience withTreasury Management Systems (TMS)and banking platforms Knowledge ofcredit risk management and customer credit analysis Experience leadingprocess improvement and automation initiatives Exposure to asset‑based lending or complex financing structures is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
