The nearby 8-acre Chatham Bars Inn Farm provides the Inn's restaurants with over 100,000 pounds of produce seasonally and offers popular outdoor farm-to-table dinners at the farm each week. We are looking for a highly engaging, customer focused individual to join our Reservations team as a Reservations Agent. The successful candidate for this role will have a proven track record of providing exceptional service, is open to learning and leading by example, responds in a professional and courteous manner to guests and team, as well as being there to support the team both personally and professionally.

The Reservation teams play an integral role in ensuring that each of our guests has an exceptional experience while planning their visit. They are responsible for creating a positive guest interaction that will build the guests anticipation for their upcoming visit. They must also be knowledgeable on providing accurate information to our guests on room packages, special promotions at the resort, and special events going on during their stay.

Your Role:

• Answering telephone calls and greeting potential guests in a friendly manner
• Provide accurate property information regarding room rates, room types, and availability
• Maintain strong organizational and computer skills
• Assist Reservations Manager as needed

What are we looking for?

• Reservations experience, hotel/resort preferred
• Experience in sales preferred
• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Excellent computer skills
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time
• Flexibility with regards to weekly schedules is necessary as is being able to work weekends and holidays

Compensation: $20.00
