Job Full Description

Immediate opening for a Burning Operator at a local Metal Fabrication Company

Willing to train applicants with heavy industrial and construction experience. Metal fabrication experience a plus

Roles and Responsibilities:

Operation of Overhead Crane and Hi-Definition Plasma Machine
Responsible for all set up and preventative maintenance
Knowledge of computer programming
Process planning and CNC programming for machinery
Responsible for meeting daily production and on time requirements
Ability to read blueprints and conduct quality inspections
Ability to meet specific tasks at hand

Education and Skills Required:

Grade 12 or equivalent
Effective communication skills
Packaging material to customer specifications
Self motivated, results oriented
Must be willing to work shift work (mornings, afternoons, graveyards)
Previous experience operating forklifts and/or overhead cranes is an asset
Previous experience working with manual beveling tools and portable flame cutting systems is an asset
