Compliance Data Analyst - Billing/Coding

Job Number: 178274 Job Title: Compliance Data Analyst - Billing/Coding Salary: $68,140.80 - $86,860.80 Job Summary The Compliance Data Analyst drives data integrity and regulatory adherence by leveraging advanced analytics and auditing methodologies. This role transforms complex data into actionable insights, designs continuous monitoring programs, and ensures compliance through robust reporting and risk analysis. The analyst supports strategic decision‑making and strengthens organizational compliance frameworks by reviewing targeted areas for timely billing processes, correcting hospital reimbursements, and performing random audits to validate compliance with coding and billing requirements. Experience with hospital billing in a large acute‑care hospital setting is preferred. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Informatics or related business field, OR four (4) years of work experience with reporting and analytics in health informatics (in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree) Training experience with databases and reporting (healthcare experience preferred) Master of Business Administration, MSA, or MHA preferred Licenses & Certifications (Preferred) Certified Public Accountant Certified Data Analyst (ACDA or IDEA) Certified Professional Biller (CPB) Certified Professional Coder‑Payer (CPC‑P) Communication Skills Verbal/ written communication: above average verbal communication with heavy public contact; exceptional public speaking Writing and correspondence including reports Proficiencies Microsoft Access, Excel, Word; strong PC skills; typing proficiency Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Analytical, mathematical, medical terminology, research, statistical, transcription, and related utilities; ACL Analytics and data extraction and analysis expertise Work Schedule and Special Requirements Flexible schedule; eligible for telecommute Experience with healthcare data analytics, ACL Analytics, MS Office Professional, MS Visio, MS Project Experience in some of the following areas: healthcare, data analytics Equipment Operated PC, fax machine, copier, phone; high proficiency in Excel, Word, Access or analytics tools #J-18808-Ljbffr Direct Jobs
