Job Description and Duties

Under direction of the Supervisor I, the Analyst II independently performs analytical assignments related to Workforce Development and Training programs and initiatives for regional center staff and Direct Support Professionals (DSP) who provide services and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).  Perform analytical tasks as well as program coordination and consultation in the analysis, research, design, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Workforce Development programs and initiatives for individuals with I/DD.  Analyze overall DSP Workforce Development programs and initiatives and identify additional opportunities that the Department of Developmental Services (Department) should explore.  The position requires excellent analytical skills, critical thinking, strong communication skills, experience with data management, and knowledge of the unique needs of individuals with I/DD.  

Effective July 1, 2025, State employees are subject to a salary reduction of three percent in exchange for five hours per month of the Personal Leave.

The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) must be numbered in the same order as the following areas, typed in 12-point Arial font, single spaced, and be no more than two pages in length. Applicants who fail to answer the questions or submit an SOQ may not be considered.

1. Describe your relevant experience and skills as they relate to the qualifications outlined in the duty statement.

2. Describe your experience building and maintaining cooperative working relationships with team members, representatives at all levels of government, the public, and the community.

3. Describe your experience managing complex projects, using project management tools, developing work plans, and overseeing projects from initiation to completion.
