Supervisor - Maintenance

Job Title: Supervisor – Maintenance Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Job Description The Supervisor – Maintenance leads and directs the maintenance mechanics performing preventative/corrective maintenance procedures to ensure equipment reliability. They train team members on technical processes to perform timely repairs and high quality preventive maintenance (P.M’s). They ensure that the equipment operates up to its original performance and quality specifications. Responsibilities Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with COMPANY policies and applicable laws Interview, hire, and train associates Plan, assign, and direct work Address complaints and resolve problems Develop and implement scheduled preventive maintenance (P.M’s) Develop work schedules of the mechanics Direct mechanics in performing proper repairs Enforce parts room procedures to help ensure that proper parts are available when needed Enforce all safety policies of the Department Promote food safety in all areas of maintenance Directly supervise maintenance employees Effective use of all maintenance operating systems up to and including CMMS and PLMS Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management Qualifications Minimum age 18 years old Valid driver’s license required; maintain compliance with company fleet policy Personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by position; compliance with safety policies Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function Ability to read, write and speak English Ability to maintain a neat, professional appearance within Company guidelines Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology Strong leadership and organizational skills Proven ability to coach and manage needs and concerns of multiple associates Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required Proficient knowledge of continuous motion packaging, filling, and palletizing equipment Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure Ability to effectively adapt to change Benefits 2 weeks paid vacation within first year Comprehensive Medical Preferred Provider Plan Employee Assistance Program Company paid life insurance ($50,000) Additional optional insurance (accident, critical illness, universal life, home & auto) Paid maternity & paternity leave 401(k) match (50% on first 6% + an additional annual match up to 3%) Exclusive employee discounts (cell phone, event tickets, gym membership, car buying, hotels, car rentals, technology needs and more) Competitive Compensation Fast paced environment promotes a healthy lifestyle For qualified candidates we offer an amazing CDL Tuition Program reimbursable up to $5250 for CDL school tuition – ask your Recruiter for details Physical Requirements Position requires compliance with the Company Personal Protective Equipment Program.
