Outpatient Neurosurgery RN Hybrid, $30k Sign-On Bonus

Overview IU Health is seeking an RN for a functional neurosurgery clinic located at 355 W 16th St., Suite 5100, Indianapolis. The position is part‑time or full‑time with an eligible $30,000 sign‑on bonus for qualified candidates. Position Details Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; potential flexibility after training; hybrid schedule after 3–6 months onsite onboarding. No weekends, holidays, on‑call, or travel required. Location: Functional Neurosurgery Clinic, Neuroscience Center in downtown Indianapolis. Responsibilities The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care in a busy functional neurosurgery clinic. Core responsibilities include: Managing patient calls and messages Preparing for clinic sessions Providing patient education Supporting pre‑ and postoperative care Conducting nurse visits Qualifications Minimum of one year RN experience; two years in an ambulatory setting preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications may be needed per unit policies Associate of Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor of Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license Knowledge of clinical procedures and equipment for the functional neurosurgery area Ability to coordinate multiple patient functions efficiently Understanding of legal implications of patient care activities Proficiency in assessing patients without face‑to‑face interaction (optional) Understanding of functional neurology is a bonus Benefits Competitive benefits, professional development opportunities, and a supportive culture of inclusion and growth.
