You'll work alongside collaborative and dynamic teammates. You'll play a pivotal role in driving the financial health and cost performance of complex, multi-million engineering projects. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Project Procurement, Finance Managers, and Engineering teams), optimize material cost control, and proactively manage cost-to-complete targets and risk mitigation strategies, and much more. We’ll look to you for: Partnering with Project Procurement & Finance Managers to optimize material cost control. Bridging budget, forecast, ROFO, and actuals, line-by-line, and identifying root causes of cost deviations. Owning and validating Tender BOM, Engineering, and Manufacturing BOM financials to support EAC, savings, and variance analysis. Monitoring cost evolution, inflation, indexation, and QCD deviations. Driving KPIs, cost reductions, tender support, and risk mitigation plans. Being the focal point for claims, material variances, and SAP-GSI cost data integrity. Proactively managing cost-to-complete, target tracking, and cost gap closure. Conducting EAC reconciliation and deep analysis of actuals by WBS. Supporting decision-making through advanced financial analysis and reporting. Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure financial success. Experience or understanding of industrial or manufacturing finance and controlling roles. Knowledge of cost control, budget management, and financial analysis. Familiarity with SAP, BI tools (e.g., QlikView, Ody.C), and Excel. Strong communication and stakeholder influence skills. Analytical mindset with a focus on cost performance and risk mitigation. Proficiency in monitoring and managing financial metrics like cost-to-complete and target tracking. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including procurement and project managers. Resilience and adaptability in managing complex, multi-million engineering projects. A continuous learning mindset to stay updated on financial tools and processes.
