Senior Accounting AnalystMillennium Management is seeking a sharp, dynamic individual at the Analyst level to join our Fund Accounting team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain broad exposure across a wide range of financial products, legal entities, and cross-functional teams at one of the world's leading alternative asset managers.Principal ResponsibilitiesOwn the month-end close process, including the preparation of journal entries and comprehensive reconciliations across multiple legal entities related to trading revenues and expensesPerform detailed reconciliations and analysis across a diverse range of products including equities, fixed income, commodities, and derivativesTrack and manage investor PNL allocations, including both asset-based and PNL-based fee structures across fund entitiesManage fund expense accruals, allocations, and reimbursements in accordance with fund governing documentsAssist in the preparation of annual fund financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standardsCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the firm including Financial Reporting, PM Compensation, Valuation, Operations, Middle Office, Legal, Investor Relations, and TaxAssist in reconciliations to both the internal operations team and third-party fund administrator, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all reportingQualifications & Skills Required5+ years of experience at a public accounting firm or within a hedge fund environment; CPA preferredGeneva experience is required; strong working knowledge of fund accounting systemsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business AdministrationSolid understanding of fund accounting principles for private credit and alternative investment fundsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders at all levelsHigh proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; comfortable working with web-based financial applicationsProven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a demanding, high-volume environmentA dynamic, proactive personality with the confidence to present findings and recommendations to senior managementStrong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to continuous process improvementMillennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $160,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future.
