Assemblers will follow verbal and written instructions to perform intricate building tasks by hand or with tools. People with an eye for detail and a positive attitude should apply and become a member of the SENSIT team today!Key ResponsibilitiesPerform assembly operations on handheld gas leak detectors by following detailed work instructions, technical drawings, and schematics.Use hand tools, soldering equipment, and small parts to assemble the product to exact specifications.Ensure all components are installed correctly and securedDiagnoses and troubleshooting assembly and performance issues, making necessary adjustments or repairs.Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve recurring issues and refine processes.Conduct quality inspections at various stages of the assembly process, ensuring each product meets company and regulatory standards.Document assembly activities, test results, and any defects found during testing or assembly.Follow ISO-certified manufacturing processes and adhere to all safety guidelines.Maintain a clean and organized workstation to promote efficiency and safety.Participate in periodic ISO audits and continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate closely with fellow assemblers, engineers, and quality assurance staff to ensure smooth production flow.Communicate effectively with supervisors and cross-functional teams about production status, equipment needs, and improvement opportunities.Required Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in electronics or assembly is a plus.1+ years of experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics or small devices.Ability with hand tools, soldering, and testing equipment.Strong mindfulness and ability to follow precise instructions.Basic understanding of electrical systems and calibration procedures.Commitment to quality and an initiative-taking approach to finding and solving problems.Physical RequirementsAbility to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.Manual dexterity for handling small parts and precise assembly work.Ability to lift to 25 lbs. regularly.Additional RequirementsWillingness to work in a collaborative, fast-paced production environment.Ability to adapt to changing production demands and work overtime as needed.Work ScheduleHourly position40-hour work week8-hour shift, longer hours when neededMonday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pmEqual Opportunity EmployerSensit is committed to providing a workplace free from discrimination or harassment.
