The Role at a Glance

We are in pursuit of a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging professionals committed to providing top-notch patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, explaining procedures clearly and empathetically
• Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of exceptional diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, with a commitment to reporting any malfunctions immediately
• Document procedures correctly and retain patient records within the electronic health record system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and emerging best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly desirable

Certifications Needed

• Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
