And training opportunities, as well as professional growth Qualifications Compassionate and dedicated caregiver with over 5+ years of hands-on experience providing high-quality personal care to elderly and disabled clients in home and facility settings. Highly skilled in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility support. Proficient in safe patient handling techniques, including transfers using gait belts, Hoyer lifts, and wheelchairs. Knowledgeable in monitoring vital signs, medication reminders, and documenting changes in physical and emotional conditions. Trained in infection control, hygiene management, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and families. Patient, reliable, and culturally sensitive, with a strong commitment to preserving client dignity and independence. Able to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts. Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle with car insurance. With a negative Tuberculosis test. Responsibilities Assisted clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding while maintaining dignity and comfort. Provided mobility support, including safe transfers from bed to wheelchair, repositioning, and ambulation assistance. Administered medication reminders and ensured adherence to prescribed care plans. Prepared nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and assisted with feeding when necessary. Maintained a clean, safe, and organized living environment to prevent infection and accidents. Offered companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce isolation. Assisted with light housekeeping duties, including laundry, dishwashing, and room sanitation. Accompanied clients to medical appointments Observed and reported changes in clients’ physical, emotional, or behavioral conditions to family members or healthcare professionals.
