Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (LDRP)

Location

Polson, MT | Critical Access Hospital

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekends required, equally split among staff | Overtime (48-hour weeks) may be available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive LDRP care including triage, labor support, recovery, postpartum care, and newborn care
• Manage varying patient ratios (1:1 through 1:6) depending on census and acuity
• Document all patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility as needed
• Maintain holiday coverage commitments, including working at least one winter holiday pair (Thanksgiving/Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas/Christmas Eve, or New Year's/New Year's Eve)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of LDRP or OB nursing experience required; seasoned travelers strongly preferred
• Travel nursing experience required
• Must be available to work weekends as equally distributed among staff
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard travel candidate (locals may be considered under separate terms)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a critical access or small community hospital setting
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Experience managing the full LDRP scope independently, including newborn care
