We are seeking a pellet, wood, and chimney Install Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will have onsite training and be able to install and service these heating units to code. This is a full time position with no on-call or weekends . Pay rate is based off from experience. The ideal candidate has the ability to read and follow schematics, technical knowledge, and manual dexterity. Responsibilities
- Read and understand manuals, drawings, and schematics
- Precisely measure components to ensure fit
- Modify components to meet required specifications
- Put parts together
- Maintain a high level of quality control
- Keep detailed notes
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep equipment in working condition
- Report on any equipment issues or defective parts
- Previous experience with heat installments, in a similar role, or willing to learn
- Excellent customer service and attention to detail
- Ability to operate and use hand tools
- Strong understanding of quality control principles
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- No fear of heights
