Occupational Therapist (OT)We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Rehabilitation Team in an acute inpatient hospital setting. This role focuses on providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals recovering from injury, illness, or surgery. The ideal candidate will have experience in inpatient rehabilitation, acute care therapy, functional mobility training, ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), discharge planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.This position offers weekday scheduling with additional outpatient therapy opportunities, supporting a dynamic and flexible work environment.ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations in an acute inpatient setting to assess functional limitations and rehabilitation needsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on ADLs, mobility, strength, and independenceProvide hands-on therapy interventions including neurological rehab, orthopedic recovery, and functional trainingCollaborate with physicians, nurses, case management, and interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes and discharge planningEducate patients and families on home exercise programs, adaptive equipment, and safety strategiesDocument patient progress, goals, and outcomes in accordance with hospital policies and EMR requirementsEnsure compliance with regulatory standards, infection control policies, and quality care initiativesQualificationsBefore we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers.
