- Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to identify client needs and establish baseline mental health status. \n
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, adjusting strategies based on client progress. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing. \n
- Lead and guide both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive environment that encourages open dialogue and peer support. \n
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, fellow therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients. \n
- Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related events, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients in distress. \n
- Educate clients and their families on trauma management strategies and resources, empowering them with effective coping mechanisms. \n
- Maintain meticulous documentation to ensure compliance with confidentiality standards and regulatory requirements. \n
- Engage actively in case consultations and team meetings to discuss client care and contribute to the overall quality and improvement of services. \n
Your primary focus will be on individuals dealing with complex trauma, PTSD, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n- \n
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution. \n
- Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of Washington. \n
- At least two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, specifically dealing with trauma-related disorders. \n
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities. \n
