Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 18:00–06:30 | Occasional mid-shifts may be requested

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols, including crisis prevention and de-escalation procedures in accordance with CPI Blue Card standards

Required Qualifications

• Valid California RN license in-hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
• ACLS , BLS , and PALS certifications required and must be in-hand at time of application
• CPI Blue Card from the Crisis Prevention Institute required and must be in-hand at time of application — MAB or Online CPI Blue certification not accepted
• EPIC experience required and must be documented in work history
• Two supervisor references required at time of application
• Local candidates are welcome and will be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume emergency department environment
• Strong crisis intervention and de-escalation skills
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
