\n The Refrigeration Technician operates, maintains, and repairs industrial cooling and freezing, large ammonia-based refrigeration systems in our prepared plant facility. They ensure optimal temperatures for food safety, compliance with government safety regulations, and equipment reliability. This person must be experienced maintaining ammonia refrigeration systems within a manufacturing facility. \n

\n

\n
• Maintain, diagnose and repair refrigeration equipment.
\n
• Maintain daily logs and other required paperwork.
\n
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot ammonia refrigeration compressors, condensers, pumps, vessels, re-circulators, purgers, evaporators, valves, etc.
\n
• All other relevant duties to the job.
\n

Requirements \n
\n
\n 1+ year experience operating and maintaining Ammonia Refrigeration systems required. 1+ year experience with electrical low and high voltage circuits required. Strong math skills and technically savvy.\n

Physical Requirements \n
\n
\n

\n
• Constantly stand and/or walk throughout shift.
\n
• Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
\n
• Exposure to heat (99°F, 37°C) and cold (45°F, 4°C).
\n
• Exposure to damp, wet and cold environments.
\n
• Regularly lift 25+ lbs.
\n
• Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
\n
