Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Shift Length: 12-hour shifts; Weekend Requirement: Yes; weekends typically run 0700–0700 (24 hours); On-call Requirement: Yes — 6 on-call days in a 6-week schedule; at least 2 of those must be weekends

Minimum Assignment Length: 10 weeks

Licenses: NM license may pend at time of submission; Certifications: BLS, ACLS; Years of Experience: 2; Preferred Experience: Trauma Level I/II

Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and standards. Assist with a variety of surgical procedures including general, orthopedic, gynecological, bariatric, and laparoscopic cases. Monitor patient status and vital signs throughout the surgical process and respond to changes as necessary. Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and nursing teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Perform and document perioperative care and provide education to patients and families.
