Position Slot Supervisor Reports To: Slot Department Manager Department: Slot Department Status: Nonexempt Salary $19.50-$20.50 per hour Benefits Full Time Team Member eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, & Life insurance Generous Paid Time Off plan 401K with Match Position Purpose Ensures gaming machines are functioning properly for the quality entertainment of gaming guests. Responds to jackpots, hand-pays, and other gaming machine issues, as necessary. Duties and Responsibilities Provide training, counseling, and evaluation of subordinate staff. Check gaming machine repair log daily. Communicate with slot technicians to ensure that machines are operational. Ensure that Casino and department policies and procedures are adhered to at all times. Maintain a professional, courteous image at all times. Record and report any suspicious activity as defined by the Bank Secrecy Act (Title 31) and Feather Falls Casino Internal Control Policy Suspicious Activity Compliance Program. Supervisory Responsibilities Supervises Slot Ambassadors during assigned shift, to include supervisor of Slot Technicians in the absence of the Slot Technician Manager. Education and/or Experience Education Level – High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Experience – 6 months in a supervisory position preferred. Special Skills & Certification Electronics certification desirable. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions while providing optimum guest service. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Class A Gaming License (as provided for a nominal fee with a clean background check). Physical Demands The physical demands described include frequent standing, walking, and sitting; use of hands to finger, handle, or feel; reaching with hands and arms; climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; and talking and hearing. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment The employee is regularly exposed to tobacco smoke, loud noises, and bright lights. Eligibility Candidates for all positions must be at least 21 years of age and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
