Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities The Warehouse Manager oversees the overall direction, completion and financial outcome of the CCS Warehouse, supervising activities such as receiving, handling, storing, picking, loading, unloading and packing of products for construction projects. Ensures inventory control meets or exceeds financial objectives by overseeing weekly cycle counts and monitoring receivers and bill of materials. Participates in daily/weekly meetings with department leaders, project engineers, and site superintendents to develop methods, schedule contracting needs and manage long‑lead delivery times. Reviews project BoMs to determine job cost, procedures, staffing requirements and allocates resources to project phases. Anticipates project needs with sufficient lead time to avoid delays, establishes work plans and staffing, and works closely with project managers and superintendents to ensure product readiness aligned with project timelines. Forms and leads an effective warehouse team, defining and delegating responsibilities and setting goals. Resolves office and grounds maintenance issues and other matters that arise. Maintains CCS / MPI mobile assets, including company trucks, cars and lift‑assist devices. Ensures safety, quality and production standards are maintained. Conducts project closeout activities, secures loose ends by completing paperwork, obtaining retainages, supporting supervisors and expediting claims. Qualifications Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in warehouse or supply chain management. Degree or diploma in a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills. Goal‑oriented with ability to set and achieve targets. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work well and persuade people at all organizational levels. Compliance: Follows applicable laws, codes, regulations, or zoning for required work. Demonstrated clear logical written, verbal, and presentation skills. Leadership that seeks and accepts responsibility, leading by example. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
