Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nurse opportunity located in Portland, Oregon. This position involves working during night shifts in a short-term acute care facility with a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations. Candidates will provide bedside care, monitor telemetry, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Oregon license or compact license, 2 years of experience, BLS certification, experience with electronic charting in EPIC, at least 1 year of telemetry experience, patient ratio experience, positive references covering 1 year during the last 3 years
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and geriatric patient care, skills in managing cardiac telemetry, effective communication skills
• Float: Several medical surgical units; float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Must have a vehicle for this assignment. Candidates are expected to float between units and facilities as needed to meet patient care requirements. The facility will provide necessary protective equipment and support services such as physical therapy, radiology, and pharmacy. Candidates must be flexible to work 3 of the 5 specified holidays, with all scheduling requests to be submitted upfront.
