Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and support to students identified with special needs in a life skills program
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with other educators, therapists, and families
• Employ research-based strategies to promote academic, social, and daily living skills
• Monitor student progress, collect data, and adapt plans based on students’ evolving needs
• Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and district policies

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher licensure required
• Previous experience in a high school or life skills classroom strongly preferred
• Ability to manage and adapt to varying student needs and behaviors
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility and proactive problem-solving approach
