Adjunct Professor, Biology

Responsibilities Teach courses in the Department of Biology, including but not limited to Environmental Science, Cell Biology, Medical Terminology, Genetics, and others. Utilize the NP syllabus template, approved textbooks, and course materials. Submit personalized course syllabus electronically one week prior to course start date. Adhere to printed course schedule meeting times and locations. Be available to students outside of class by email and appointment as needed. Grade assessments promptly and submit mid‑term and final grades on time. Document the last date students participated in an academic activity as required for federal regulations. Qualifications Master’s degree in a related field. Possess a clear understanding of North Park University’s mission of Christian higher education. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Desired Qualifications Terminal degree in a related field. Experience using Canvas or comparable learning management system (LMS). Experience teaching at a university level.
