Full Time Lead Housekeeper in Pasadena

Position Title: Full-Time Housekeeper Location: Pasadena, CA

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday -- 8 AM - 4:30 PM

If you are only able to work evenings, Friday day shift can be evenings instead.

Compensation: $45/hour+ & Full Benefits Package

Reports To: Principals and Lead Housekeeper

Position Overview:

A private residence in Pasadena, CA (8,000 sq. ft.) is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and trustworthy Full-Time Housekeeper to join their household team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-charge housekeeping and be comfortable working around dogs. This role requires a high level of discretion, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform daily and deep cleaning of all areas of the home, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas

- Launder and iron clothing, linens, and towels to a high standard

- Maintain household organization, including closets, pantries, and storage areas

- Care for fine furnishings, surfaces, artwork, and delicate materials using appropriate methods

- Light meal prep or kitchen assistance as requested

- Trash removal and recycling management

- Pet care including feeding, walking, and general oversight (must be dog-friendly)

- Coordinate with vendors and household staff as needed

- Assist with holiday and event preparation and clean-up

- Ensure home is guest-ready at all times

- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and household items

- Report maintenance needs and household concerns to the Lead Housekeeper or Principals

Qualifications:

- Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar role within a private home or estate

- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

- Strong knowledge of cleaning products and proper care for high-end finishes and furnishings

- Dog-friendly with experience in basic pet care

- Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills

- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion

- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

- Flexibility to work holidays as needed (Christmas off)
