Make an immediate impact supporting students with physical therapy services in a welcoming school environment near Evanston, IL. This contract-to-hire opportunity is an excellent fit for professionals who have a passion for working with children and embracing a collaborative, educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist license in Illinois
- Experience providing PT services in school environments or pediatric settings
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Familiarity with IEP processes and multidisciplinary collaboration
Essential Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy assessments and interventions to help students achieve their educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate records and provide input during IEP team meetings
- Support students’ physical development and independence within daily school activities
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment
