Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse specializing in Open Heart procedures in Largo, Florida. This position involves providing specialized perioperative care for patients undergoing complex cardiac surgeries within a busy hospital environment. The role requires the ability to work flexible hours and support a high volume of surgical cases.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification in nursing (RN), Florida state licensure, 1 year of clinical experience in operating room nursing, including open heart procedures
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac surgeries and open heart procedures, familiarity with perioperative protocols and sterile techniques
• Additional Information:
  • The facility features 286 beds and includes a psych/rehabilitation department that functions as a float unit.
  • The position requires working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff.
  • The facility is located in Largo, Florida, with parking available in the garage on the third and fourth floors during AM & PM shifts.
  • Scrub colors are specified for various clinical roles, and the hospital maintains policies aligned with the facility standards.
