REGISTERED NURSE (RN) - MEDICAL ICU (MICU)

Responsibilities This opportunity is a full‑time position and offers full benefits. There is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested. Texoma Medical Center, a 414‑bed acute care facility, has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. The main campus is located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. In addition, we have numerous facilities throughout the Texoma region. The basic purpose of nursing is to provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Additionally, nursing will provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Nursing will also demonstrate Service Excellence standards at all times, guided by the Standards of Practice set forth by professional nursing associations. One year full time or three years part time experience in acute care ICU setting. RQI BLS, ACLS and PALS required. BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines and all required Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Healthcare Provider courses will be provided during new hire orientation or upon transfer, and must be completed prior to working in a clinical setting.
