Child & Family Development (C&FD) is seeking Psychologists at all experience levels to join our award-winning pediatric outpatient practice serving children, adolescents, and families throughout the Charlotte region.

For more than 45 years, Child & Family Development has been a trusted provider of pediatric therapy services and is proud to be the longest-standing private outpatient pediatric therapy practice in the Charlotte area. Our multidisciplinary team includes Psychologists, Counselors, Educational Specialists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) professionals who work together to support children and families.

- Psychological and psychoeducational assessments
- Autism Spectrum Disorder evaluations, including ADOS-2

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and psychoeducational evaluations
- Assess cognitive, academic, developmental, behavioral, and emotional functioning
- Conduct Autism Spectrum Disorder evaluations; ADOS-2 experience preferred
- Provide individual and family therapy based on training and areas of interest
- Provide parent-focused interventions and support
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment recommendations
- Collaborate with families, schools, physicians, and other professionals
- Participate in clinical consultation and team meetings
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation and reports
- Maintain competencies across assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
A Practice Designed to Support Your Work:
At C&FD, our clinicians are supported by a dedicated client services infrastructure that manages referrals, scheduling, insurance authorizations, billing, claims, and medical records. This allows psychologists to focus their time and energy on clinical care.
Our integrated model also provides opportunities for meaningful collaboration with professionals across Psychology, Counseling, Education, OT, PT, Speech, and ABA. You will have access to a broad range of perspectives while maintaining the clinical autonomy to practice within your areas of expertise.
Required Qualifications:
- Doctoral or Master's degree in Psychology
- Active North Carolina psychology license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong clinical, communication, and writing skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality, family-centered care
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Reside in the Charlotte area or plan to relocate within three months
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and/or families
- Pediatric outpatient experience
- Experience conducting psychological or psychoeducational assessments
- Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder evaluations and/or ADOS-2
- Experience providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions

Compensation & Benefits:
We offer a Base Plus compensation model that provides the stability of a base salary with additional earning potential based on billable hours.
Total earning potential up to $150,000+ annually, based on caseload, productivity, and experience.
