Staff Management | SMX is hiring for Food Production Warehouse associates in Bolingbrook, IL! • 1st Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm ($15.50/hr)
• 2nd Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm ($16.00/hr)
• 3rd Shift: 10:00pm - 6:30am ($16.50/hr)

Job Responsibilities

Staff Management | SMX has a variety of general labor openings! Previous manufacturing experience is not required. Responsibilities include mixing products, weighing/scaling material, packaging material, or supplying our lines with products. Whatever role you are assigned to, you will need to be reliable and able to work within industry-standard Good Manufacturing Practices at all times (no artificial nails/eyelashes, nail polish, jewelry, etc. cannot be worn while producing and/or packaging food products).

• Inspect product for quality and any signs of foreign material contamination.
• Supply production lines as needed.
• Responsible for correct placement of product on line or in containers, boxes, or pallets.
• Maintains works area in a clean and organized manner.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
• Must be knowledgeable in GMPs or the willingness to learn.
• Basic math skills.
• Must have the ability to understand and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• This is a manufacturing environment and there will be an exposure to a variety of machines, noise levels, and varying temperatures.
• This is a team environment; all employees must be able to work together and communicate in a respectful and professional manner.
• Must be able to work necessary overtime based on staffing needs and customer demand, as well as across shifts.
• Ability to stand and work with your hands throughout the duration of the shift.
• Ability to lift at least 25lbs.
• Depending on which location, our environments can be very cold or very warm.
• We participate in E-verify.

Associate Requirements

• Stand for Shift Duration
• Able to Lift 30 pounds
• Must be at least 18 years old
• No Background Check Required
• No Drug Test Required

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $15.50 - $16.50 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer medical, dental, vision, life, and more.
