About BluePearl Pet Hospital in Des Moines Iowa Veterinary Referral Center (IVRC), a BluePearl hospital in Des Moines, Iowa is the largest 24‑hour emergency and referral center in the greater Des Moines area. The 13,000‑square‑foot state‑of‑the‑art facility opened in 2011. On‑site diagnostic capabilities include a CT scanner, endoscopes, ultrasound, chemotherapy, and digital radiography. Qualifications Board‑certified or residency‑trained veterinary cardiologist required. Current license to practice veterinary medicine in this state. Strong diagnostic and clinical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate bedside manner. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
