Managed Care Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Determine individual and family eligibility for care programs.
• Assist in coordinating and communicating schedules with internal and external clients.
• Conduct client interviews, gather facts and information, and compile case data to provide recommendations to attorneys.
• Manage casework in a timely manner, including maintaining proper documentation and ensuring case resolution.
• Conduct legal research, analyze legal documents, and draft legal paperwork. Accurately document findings.
• Work efficiently and effectively across multiple databases to retrieve and analyze information.
• Attend workgroup meetings and actively participate in discussions.
• Provide support to the leadership team as needed.

Requirements and Skills

• Must have an associate or bachelor's degree.
• Background in paralegal studies is a plus.
• Previous work experience in a legal environment is a plus.
• Customer service or call center experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and related applications.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills, including time management, note-taking, email organization, and distribution.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Other Important Information

• Location: Downtown Nashville, Tennessee.
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid position requiring onsite and remote work according to the team's schedule.
• Contract Duration: 12 months, with the possibility of extension.
