Truss Assembler – Hugo, MN- Overnight Overview
Express Employment Professionals Forest Lake has partnered with a growing company in Hugo, MN that is hiring for a Truss Assembler on 3rd shift. As a Truss Assembler, you’ll work hands‑on assembling roof and floor trusses, reading measurements, and supporting production in a fast‑paced construction manufacturing environment. This role values accuracy, teamwork, and safety while producing quality building components.

- Assemble roof and floor trusses according to production specifications and blueprints
- Measure and mark lumber accurately using a tape measure
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Inspect trusses for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while meeting production goals
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately (required)
- Willingness to complete and pass a tape measure test
- Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, framing, or related field required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Drug screen and background check required
