Clean Room Associate

The Clean Room Associate cleans and assembles parts for medical devices in a controlled cleanroom environment. This role involves working with small and medium-sized components, using hand and power tools, and performing basic manufacturing inspection tasks. The position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, an interest in hands-on work, and a reliable, detail-oriented approach.

Responsibilities
  • Clean small and medium-sized parts used in medical device manufacturing according to established procedures and standards.
  • Assemble small components accurately and consistently, ensuring all parts meet quality and safety requirements.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to support cleaning and assembly tasks.
  • Perform basic manufacturing inspection of parts and assemblies to identify defects or irregularities.
  • Follow cleanroom protocols at all times, including proper gowning and handling procedures.
  • Take direction from supervisors and trainers, applying feedback to improve accuracy, speed, and quality of work.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure cleanliness, precision, and product integrity.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain an efficient workflow.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and operational procedures within the cleanroom and production areas.
  • Support general housekeeping and organization of the work area to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
Essential Skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong interest in hands-on work.
  • Ability to assemble small pieces with precision and consistency.
  • Capability to clean small and medium-sized parts following defined standards.
  • Experience using hand and power tools or the ability to learn their safe operation.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Willingness to learn new processes and take direction from supervisors.
  • Reliable work habits, including consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
  • Positive, can-do attitude in a production environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Some machine or assembly experience is preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production setting is an advantage.
  • Comfort working with small components and performing repetitive tasks with accuracy.
  • Strong teamwork mindset and ability to support colleagues as needed.
  • Openness to training and continuous skill development.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Deep River, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
