Role Description The full-time pediatrician will provide comprehensive, evidence-based medical care to patients from birth through young adulthood in an on-site setting located in Manhattan, NY. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting well-child visits, sick visits, developmental screenings, and immunizations, as well as managing chronic conditions and coordinating care with specialists when needed. Call is ~ 1/8 nights and weekends. Qualifications Medical training and credentials: MD, NP or DO degree from an accredited institution, completion of an ACGME-accredited pediatric residency, and Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics. Licensure and compliance: Active or eligible New York State medical license, DEA registration, and commitment to maintaining all required certifications and continuing medical education. Clinical expertise: Strong skills in pediatric diagnosis, preventive care, management of acute and chronic conditions, and use of evidence-based guidelines across infancy through young adulthood. Communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with children and caregivers, build trusting relationships, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members. Practice and technology skills: Comfort with electronic health records, efficient documentation, and ability to work in a busy outpatient environment while maintaining attention to detail and patient safety. Patient-centered and community focus: Demonstrated commitment to family-centered care, cultural humility, and interest in engaging with the local community as a trusted pediatric resource.
