Join Our Team as an Optometrist!

Eye Physicians & Surgeons, PC in Decatur, GA are seeking a skilled and passionate Optometrist to join our team. These physicians are fundamentally changing their approach to patient care and will be referring patients to the Optometrist for vision services. As an Optometrist at our practice, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients by providing top-notch eye care services. Daily Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams
• Perform visual field testing and pre-testing
• Prescribe and fit contact lenses
• Diagnose and treat ocular diseases
• Provide patient education on eye care and treatment options
• Referral to ophthalmology or other specialists when necessary

Required Skills:

• Licensed Doctor of Optometry degree
• Experience with visual acuity testing and refraction
• Proficiency in conducting eye exams and diagnosing ocular diseases
• Knowledge of optical coherence tomography and autorefractors
• Ability to perform cataract evaluations 

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with vision therapy and low vision services
• Familiarity with medical insurance billing and coding
• Interest in primary care optometry
